- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2017-04-17, by Helena MarkouEither rip-off merchants or incompetent. Halfords told us our TWO YEAR OLD car fail MOT because of rear shocks and quoted £400 to replace. We said no thanks we'll get the work done elsewhere. Took it to Brymacs who only quoted £260 for same job. But then when they did the MOT test they couldn't find anything wrong with the shocks AT ALL! So they didn't even need replacing. We'll be notifying trading standards.
